Slip and Fall Injury at Walgreens

Posted on Thursday, May 22nd, 2008 at 5:05 am

In Wisconsin, a woman who slipped and fell at a Walgreens because of improper clean-up of water in late April 2008 has sued the company for her injury.  Sharon Robinson was walking near the cosmetics section when she hit the puddle of water.  She claims Walgreens failed to properly clean the area, failed to provide proper warning signs or cones, and did not alert customers cleaning equipment was used which made the area dangerous and slippery.

The plaintiff has suffered injuries to her neck, shoulders, and lower back which have caused pain and suffering.  She is seeking medical care costs, lost wages, and reimbursement because she sustained a disability.  In total, the damages are in excess of $50,000 plus lawyer costs.

Personal Injury Cases Recover More with Lawyers

Posted on Monday, May 12th, 2008 at 4:05 am

Insurance companies’ studies consistently reveal that personal injury claims recover more money when they are properly represented by a lawyer.   Virtually identical cases that lack legal representation never get more money than legally backed cases, rarely get equal sums, and frequently get much less.  Studies further reveal that even after attorney’s fees are paid, claimants with legal representation still pocketed more money for their pain and suffering.

Based on this information, insurance companies frequently encourage injured parties to settle their issue without a lawyer, ensuring lower costs for the company.  This decision is a purely financial matter and does not take into account your pain, suffering, lost time, and unfavorably altered life because of your personal injury.  Because lawyers can help you win more money by easing your fiscal burdens involved with injuries, it is recommended to contact an experienced lawyer who will aggressively fight for your rights.  The Sheboygan personal injury lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® can help you with your case today at 866.888.3620.

Idaho Child Safety Seat Program Helps Families

Posted on Thursday, May 1st, 2008 at 3:05 am

In Idaho, the city of Rexburg has recently expanded its child safety seat program.  The program gives young couples safety seats for their children, shows them how to properly install the seat in their car, and how to secure the child safely in the seat.   Recently, however, there has been a shortage of car seats to give away to families.

The Idaho National Laboratory, with the help of corporate contributions, donated more child safety seats to the program.  Both the program and the laboratory seek to assure the safety of infants as soon as they leave the hospital.    The program seeks to aid families in need and young families, who may be confused about the extreme variety of car seats on the market or unable to afford a new model with improved safety features.

Child safety seat usage in cars is an important way to protect your child’s life.  If your family has suffered due to a child safety seat accident, contact the experienced personal injury lawyers at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® today at 866.888.3620.
