In Lindina, a man was shot in the chest with his own gun. Unfortunately, he was not able to be taken to a hospital, and did not survive. He was the second man to be killed during this year’s deer season. The first, an Appleton man, also took a shotgun slug to the chest.

According to the Department of Natural Resources, there have been nine injuries so far in the nin day season. Of these, four have been self inflicted wounds.

Two people were injured in a car crash when one car failed to yield at a stop sign. The first car pulled away from a stop sign on Highway TT an struck another car traveling east on Highway C.

The two people in the first car were transported to St. Nicholas Hospital and Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for treatment of non life threatening injuries. The woman in the eastbound car was unharmed and the driver of the first car has been charged with failure to yield at a stop sign.
