Crash Kills Man, Injures Child

On Sunday afternoon, a one car crash occurred along Highway 57 just south of Random Lake. The accident happened around 3pm, but authorities are not releasing information about the cause of the crash.

When emergency response arrived at the scene, the driver was already dead. An unidentified child in the car was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Man Charged with 7th OWI

A Cedar Grove man was arrested early Friday morning in the Town of Lima on his 7th OWI charge. He was arrested after attempting to flee police and his truck went off the road and struck a barn.

The man was hospitalized with serious injuries and has been charged on several counts. Fortunately, no one else was hurt in the accident. However, the man put many people at risk by driving drunk.

Boy Injured in ATV Crash

On Friday, a 13 year old boy was involved in an ATV crash in the Town of Sherman. The boy says the ATV suddenly jerked to the right as he was riding and caused a rollover.

The boy was taken to the hospital for treatment of a broken arm and possible broken leg. No one else was involved in the crash. The boy's condition was not released.

Auto Accident Injures 2

A crash occurred early Tuesday afternoon in Appleton. Around 12:30pm, a northbound car lost control and rolled several times into the southbound lane, striking the side of an SUV.

Reports say the drivers were trapped and unresponsive. Both drivers were taken to hospitals in unreported conditions. However, their injuries are said to be non life threatening.

Crash Kills Store Clerk

A bizarre crash occurred late Saturday night on 15th St. Around 11pm, a man who had just gotten gas at the Pig Stop backed his van through the glass window at the front of the store, pinning a clerk under the bumper and debris.

The 18 year old store clerk was taken to Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center before being transferred to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee. She was pronounced dead at 12:08am Sunday.

Cyclist Injured in Crash

On Tuesday afternoon, a bicycle and a car were involved in a crash in Waupun. The car struck the bicycle at the intersection of East Main St and Fond du Lac St around 2:32pm.

The cyclist's injuries were considered minor, but he was transported to Waupun Memorial Hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was uninjured in the crash. No one else was involved.

Crash Injures Man

Late Sunday night, a one vehicle crash occurred in Fond du Lac. At 11:26pm, the driver crashed along County Trunk D at Lost Arrow Rd, ejecting himself and rolling the car several times.

After the crash, the man was air lifted to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah for treatment of head injuries. He was listed in fair condition Monday morning. Police believe that alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the crash.
