How long does it take for a motorist to be involved in four separate crashes? For one man, it only took seven minutes. 

According to police reports, Kiriko Massai took a right onto Highway OO and hit a guardrail. After hitting the guardrail, he rear-ended two vehicles in two separate lanes. And after hitting the two cars, he crashed into a traffic standard and then continued down the highway.

Woman dies in motorcycle accident on Highway 57 near Random Lake

A woman and man riding on a motorcyle in Random Lake were hit by a car Sunday. The female rider died in the accident, and the male rider sustained minor injuries, according to police reports. 

The accident occurred when the two were traveling down state Highway 57, and a car rolled through a stop sign and smashed into the motorcyle, sending both of the riders flying off the bike.

Mother who left 5-year-old home alone charged with negligence

A Sheboygan left her 5-year-old son home alone August 7 and was charged with one count of misdemeanor child neglect Monday. Amber Johnson alledgedly left her son alone for more than an hour, and after a short time, the young boy wandered over to a neighbor's house, knocked on the door, and told the neighbor he was scared. 

For the neglect charges, Johnson could be without her child for six to nine months. She said she deeply regretted her decision and will likely plead guilty to the charges.

Man accused of beating girlfriend found in playpen

A man accused of beating his girlfriend found a new use for a child's playpen Tuesday. The man was discovered hiding under a blanket in the playpen when police responded to a call reporting the abuse. 

The police report indicated that the caller claimed that the man had knocked his 23-year-old girlfriend to the ground and kicked her repeatedly. When police arrived to the scene, they first found the girl and sent her to a nearby hospital.

During the house search, they police were startled when they discovered the accused man hiding in the playpen. Upon discovery, the man was arrested immediately and charged for the crime.
