The high risks of aggressive driving

Posted on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 at 6:39 am

Many people view aggressive driving as a necessity, especially when they need to get somewhere quickly. However, this style of driving leads to many accidents that result in serious injuries.

Some studies have shown that aggressive drivers tend not to weigh the risks and rewards of aggressive driving. While a person may benefit from getting somewhere quickly today, the long-term cost of getting in a serious accident will likely outweigh the benefit.

To curb the habit of aggressive driving, people should leave plenty of time to get to their destination, stay within the speed limit, and avoid changing lanes too frequently.
