Man arrested for car accident that caused gas pipe damage

A man was arrested for a car accident that damaged a gas pipe last week. According to police reports, the driver allegedly hit the gas pipe last Wednesday and fled from the accident. 

The gas pipe damage forced the gas at hundreds of homes to be shut down temporarily. Police were able to apprehend the suspect after they received a tip from someone who saw the driver's truck.

A man was arrested for a hit and run in Sheboygan that occurred Wednesday. According to police reports, the man drove his pickup truck into a gas main.

The gas main was located near a wastewater treatment plant, causing gas services to be stopped for many Sheboygan homes and businesses.

Police continue investigation into fire explosion

Sheboygan police are still investigating a fire explosion that killed one volunteer firefighter and injured eight others. According to police reports, the accident occurred when the firefighters were putting out a fire and unexplained explosion occurred. 

While authorities believe a reaction with metal byproducts caused the explosion, they have not determined what caused the original fire.

Four people injured in Sheboygan car accident

Four people were injured in a Sheboygan car accident Sunday. According to police reports, a car was attempting to merge onto I-43 when it moved suddenly in front of another car. 

The merge caused the two cars to collide, and one of the vehicles crashed into the median. When medical officials arrived, the two drivers and two passengers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
