The Allstate America's Best Drivers Report, released last week, ranks Wisconsin' two largest cities — Milwaukee and Madison — as the 42nd and 26th safest cities in the nation, respectively, when it comes to car safety.

Rankings are based on car collision frequency for the 200 largest cities in the nation, and use Allstate data. Milwaukee drivers get into an accident on average once every ten years and seven months, while Madison drivers are in accidents once every eleven years on average.
