The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled 57,000 holiday slippers for babies because they could pose the risk of choking.
The Atico-brand slippers have been sold at Walgreen stores since October, however, a recall was not issued until recently. There have been three reports of babies choking on the stuffing and rattles inside of the slippers because the slippers are easily pulled apart. The stuffing was removed from the babies' mouths before serious injury occurred.
The CPSC has stated that anyone who has this product should immediately return it to a Walgreen store and receive a full refund.
