A 26 year-old sex offender was arrested in Vernon County this week for violating his GPS boundaries set on his GPS bracelet.
The man was sentenced to three years in prison in 2007 after pleading guilty to second-degree sexual assault of a child. He was originally charged with five counts of sexual assault of a child following several incidents of what authorities said involved boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 11.
The man was arrested after an investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections found he violated his GPS boundaries set for his parole. He admitted to the crime and will appear in court at the end of the month.
