Dog bite victim released from hospital

Posted under Sheboygan dog bite attorneys

A seven year-old boy from Tomah received more than 100 stitches and staples to his head, neck, and arms after he was brutally attacked by a pit bull last week. He was released on Monday after spending four days in hospital.

According to his mother, the boy was riding his bike in the driveway when a stray pit bull sank its teeth into his neck and wouldn’t let go. A friend alerted her, and she found her son in a pool of blood. She was able to get the dog away from her son and pull him to safety.

The family told authorities that the stray dog often roamed the neighborhood and they would sometimes feed it. The dog has since been euthanized.
