Former Langland County deputy guilty of sexual assault

A 25 year-old former Langland County sheriff’s deputy has been charged with felony sex crimes involving underage teenage girls. He has been charged with four counts of sexual assault, two counts of child enticement, and 16 counts of exposing himself to children.

According to the Pioneer Press, the man is believed to have had four victims between 15 and 18 years-old who went to Elcho High School. He communicated with the girls by texting and using social media sites.

The former sheriff’s deputy had been with Langland County from 2008 to June of this year. It is not clear if he resigned or if he was fired.
