Posted under Car Accident

A 21-year-old student at Winona State University in Woodbury, Minnesota was found drowned inside her vehicle in a Mississippi River channel in La Crosse, Wisconsin early on January 1.

La Crosse police identified the victim as Marie Ellen Ahmann, a college senior. Law enforcement agents have yet to identify the cause of the accident that resulted in Ahmann’s car’s crashing into Swift Creek.

A city transit employee who had seen tire tracks where the victim’s car left the road called the authorities at around 1:30 a.m., leading to the discovery of Ahmann’s body and her vehicle under about 6 to 8 feet of water.

Ahmann was declared dead at the scene of the accident.

We at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® know how devastating such a loss can be and send our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ahmann.
