After the crash, the plane's front landing gear buckled, causing the aircraft to flip over with the pilot inside. He emerged from the accident with minor injuries and was treated on the scene by emergency medical personnel.

The risk of ski and snowboard equipment defects

by Administrator 20. January 2010 00:42

As more snow begins to drop across Wisconsin, some individuals and families are hitting the slopes. Many of them will either rent or buy ski and snowboard equipment this winter.

While most of the equipment will not have any flaws, some will likely have defects, which could lead to serious accidents on the slopes. Defects in ski equipment like loose bindings can cause skiers to lose control and crash unexpectedly.

Similar defects can cause snowboarders to crash, and could lead to multiple injuries on the slopes. To prevent these injuries, skiers and snowboarders should test their equipment.

The danger of tire defects

by Administrator 16. December 2009 04:01

Tires are not designed to last forever. Given the design and materials, tires eventually wear down and need to be replaced.

However, many drivers try to drive on tires for longer than they should. When this occurs, drivers increase their chance of being involved in serious accidents.

If the accident is due to the tires being worn down, then the driver may be responsible for the damages. However, if the tires are new and contain a manufacturing defect, then the tire manufacturer may be responsible for the damages related to the accident.

If you or anyone you know has been injured in an accident due to a tire defect, contact the Sheboygan tire defect lawyers of Habush, Habush, & Rottier, S.C., at 800-242-2874.

Generators Injure Residents, Kill 4-yr old

by Administrator 15. September 2008 03:09
In Houston, Texas, over 40 people were treated for carbon monoxide poisoning or burns caused by generators. The use of gas powered generators can produce a great deal of carbon monoxide, and when used in an enclosed or partially enclosed spaces like garages, sheds or basements, can easily build up to dangerous levels. In Houston, Hurricane Ike led people to use their generators incorrectly, injuring more than 40 people, and killing a 4 year old boy. Carbon monoxide poisoning is a serious problem that can be difficult to detect. Symptoms may mimic the flu and may cause headache, nausea, and sleepiness. If you or anyone you know has been a victim of carbon monoxide poisoning or generator burns, call the Sheboygan personal injury lawyers of Habush, Habush & Rottier at  866.888.3620.
