Construction Accident Kills 7 People

by Administrator 3. February 2009 08:02
The owner of Rapetti Rigging Services has recently been held responsible for the accident that killed 6 construction workers and 1 tourist. A crane collapsed while members of Rapetti's construction business were working on the 18th  story of a New York building. Cranes are normally held up by slings.  In this case, Rapetti used 4 of his own slings, one of which was badly worn.  Consequently, the sling snapped that was used to support a 22-story crane and  a 6-ton metal collar also used to support the crane fell on to 2 of the collars below. The impact killed 6 innocent construction workers and a tourist. If you or someone you know has been injured on a job site due to negligence on the owner's behalf, please contact your Sheboygan personal injury lawyer at 800-242-2874 to discuss your case.
