A man was arrested for a car accident that damaged a gas pipe last week. According to police reports, the driver allegedly hit the gas pipe last Wednesday and fled from the accident.

The gas pipe damage forced the gas at hundreds of homes to be shut down temporarily. Police were able to apprehend the suspect after they received a tip from someone who saw the driver's truck.
