The risks associated with pools in the winter

by Administrator 21. December 2009 06:39

Many individuals and families have pools at their homes for fun in the summer. However, when the winter weather sets in, pools that are not drained may freeze over.

Frozen pools can be dangerous for the same reasons that frozen lakes and ponds are dangerous. These pools of frozen water may be used for ice skating or other recreational activities.

When they are used for such activities, individuals could slip, fall, and hurt themselves. Also, they could break through the ice and suffer injuries from the freezing cold water.

If you or anyone you know has been injured in an ice accident, contact the Sheboygan ice accident lawyers of Habush, Habush, & Rottier, S.C., at 800-242-2874.
