Late this past Thursday, doctors delivered the baby of a woman who was seriously injured in an automobile rollover accident.
Jamie Baer’s baby was delivered by doctors around midnight when she was brought into Hennepin County Medical Center after she had been pinned in a vehicle. According to the State Patrol, 22-year-old Baer was riding in a 1999 Ford Mustang that was traveling at a high speed. When the driver went to switch lanes, he lost control of the vehicle and hit an embankment, causing the car to roll over several times.
The driver of the car, 21-year-old Frank Tregoning, was ejected from the car and a second passenger, 22-year-old Kelsey Palmer, suffered minor injuries. Both Baer and her baby are currently in critical condition.
Tregoning, Baer, and Palmer all had alcohol in their systems according to State Patrol.
