A 43-year-old man who served ten years in prison after being convicted of sexual assault will be released in a few weeks and will be living in Wisconsin Rapids.
The man was convicted in 2001 of first-degree sexual assault of a child, after engaging in sexual activity with three girls under the age of thirteen. The man was also convicted of possessing child pornography, including pictures that he took of the young girls.
The man is scheduled to be released on May 3. He will be under the supervision of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for the next forty years and will also be required to wear a GPS monitor for the rest of his life.
