A man from Juneau County in Wisconsin will soon be standing trial to face charges that he sexually assaulted a child in 1990.
According to court records, the man was charged with second-degree sexual assault after an investigation was conducted by the Juneau County Sheriff's Department and Wisconsin's Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation.
The man could be sentenced to spend up to twenty years in prison if convicted of the crime. During a preliminary hearing, a judge found probable cause that he committed sexual assault of a child, and a trial date was set for October 11.
