Last week, two Argentine parents were shocked to discover their newborn baby alive after doctors had declared the infant stillborn. The parents say they were in the hospital morgue to see their daughter one last time when they heard a little cry.
She was immediately taken to the neonatal intensive care unit in critical condition. Family says she has made drastic improvements despite being born three months early. Her parents have named her Luz Milagro, or “Miracle Light.”
The hospital has suspended five doctors pending an official investigation. The parents have told the media that they plan on filing a medical malpractice lawsuit against the hospital and doctors.
