A teenage drunk driver was arrested by Menomonee Falls police Monday night after he led police on a car chase through Fond du Lac with three young children. The 19 year-old was pulled over by police after he left the scene of an accident, but he drove off as the officer approached his window.
While on Highway 145, he lost control near the 124th Street exit and hit a fence. He ran on foot but was caught by K-9 units. According to the Menomonee Falls Patch, the children, ages 5, 4, and 3, were not harmed.
The driver failed a field sobriety test and was charged with OWI with minors in the vehicle, bail jumping, obstructing an officer, and three counts of reckless endangerment.
